At TexLens, we aim to provide high-quality OCR services to all our users. This Refund Policy outlines our approach to refunds for our current and future paid services.

1. Free Plan

Our Free plan is provided at no cost and therefore no refunds apply. The Free plan includes:
- Processing up to 500 PDF pages per month
- Up to 100 formula recognitions per month
- Basic text and table extraction
- Community support

2. Future Paid Plans

When our Pro and Enterprise plans become available, the following refund policies will apply:

2.1 Pro Plan Refunds

For our upcoming Pro plan, we will offer:
- A 7-day money-back guarantee for new subscribers
- Full refund if requested within 7 days of initial purchase
- Refund eligibility requires usage of less than 15% of the monthly allowance
- No refunds for subscription renewals (applies only to the first payment)

2.2 Enterprise Plan Refunds

For our upcoming Enterprise plan:
- Refund terms will be specified in the individual contract
- Custom agreements may include service level agreements (SLAs)
- Prorated refunds may be available for significant service disruptions

3. Refund Exclusions

No refunds will be issued in the following circumstances:
- After the specified refund period has expired
- If usage exceeds the specified threshold for refund eligibility
- For accounts that have violated our Terms of Service
- For any add-on services or one-time purchases
- For payment processing fees charged by our payment processors

4. Service Disruptions

In the event of service disruptions:

4.1 Free Plan Users
- No monetary compensation will be provided
- We may extend monthly allowances at our discretion for significant outages

4.2 Future Paid Plans
- Service credits may be offered instead of monetary refunds
- For major outages, prorated refunds may be considered based on the duration and severity

5. Refund Process

When paid plans become available, to request a refund:

2. Include your account email address and the reason for your refund request
3. Our team will review your request within 5 business days
4. If approved, refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 10-15 business days

6. Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting the updated policy on our website. We encourage users to review this policy periodically for any changes.
